About us

Wandering Help is part of our group of companies' mission to create the most useful technology for eledelry people. We firmly believe that data driven solutions that utilize the latest big data and machine learning technologies can help us in many ways to provide better care for our seniors.

Looking after a loved one with dementia is challenging in more ways than one. This is why we have developed a smart monitoring system for dementia patients that can help in 3 directions:

1. Finding a lost person.
Wandering off happens to 6 out of 10 patients with dementia. It is among the scariest moments of the care because of the many unknowns adversities. dScout's powerful GPS and sensitive GPS antenna assure fast location acquisition. The Geo-Fence allows the relatives to receive immediate notifications only when their attention is required.

2. Monitoring the dementia patient's activity.
Dementia is a progressive disease that cannot be reversed but it's development can be slowed. One of the ways to do it is to maintain an active lifestyle with as many physical exercises as possible. This is why we have equipped dScout with top of the line 6 axis motion sensor that allows the relatives to monitor the daily activity of their dementia patient. It measures the number of steps and sleep time. Our easy to read interfaces allow comparison of the results with last week, last month or longer periods so certain trends in their activity can be discovered on time.

3. Fall detection.
Unfortunately, elderly people tend to fall more and their traumas are more severe. On top of this, in many cases they are not found on time which leads to complications but also emotional and psychological stress. Our advanced algorithms allow us to detect most of the falls and our system sends immediate alerts to the relatives. This way your loved one has the best chance for optimal and faster recovery.

We firmly believe that technology can not only make one's life easier but it can help save a life as well. dScout combines the experience, passion and dedication of our medical experts, caretakers, hardware engineers and software developers. It truly is an embodiment of our efforts to help people around the world deal with the challenges of caring for a demetia patient.

We know we cannot bring back your loved one like they were before the disease but we can help in bringing them back to you if they wander off.
